Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for orthopedic and telemetry patients in a medical-surgical unit. The role involves managing joint replacements, fractures, and related conditions with a focus on patient safety, recovery, and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor patient care, including post-operative orthopedic and fracture management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips, ensuring accurate assessment of patient status.
• Maintain documentation of patient progress, medication administration, and clinical interventions.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including safety standards, infection control, and documentation.
• Provide patient education on post-discharge care and mobility protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current certification.
• Minimum of 2 years orthopedic nursing experience, specifically with joint replacements and fractures.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to read telemetry strips and monitor patient vitals effectively.
• Experience working in high-acuity medical-surgical units.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or possess approved medical/religious exemptions.
