Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will provide specialized orthopedic and telemetry care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fractures, and other orthopedic conditions. They will deliver comprehensive nursing support in a fast-paced, acute care environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care for orthopedic surgical and trauma patients, including post-operative assessments and wound management.
• Administer and titrate medications, including IV drips, as per established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry strips to quickly identify any clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, interventions, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards, including COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active, unexpired RN license.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent orthopedic nursing experience, specifically with joint replacements and fractures.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Have valid driver’s license outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
• Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have approved exemption documentation.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday rotations as required.
