Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical RN provides direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, delivering quality nursing services during night shifts. They collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and patient assessments in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions regularly and document findings accurately in Cerner EMR.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and urgent situations, escalating as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following 5S principles.

Qualifications:

• Valid WV or Compact RN license; pending license accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and adapt to unit needs.
• Strong clinical skills and experience with Cerner EMR system.
