Job Summary:
Provides specialized neonatal nursing care to critically ill newborns in a Level IV NICU setting. Works exclusively on weekends, with one weekday night shift, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through expert clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring of neonatal vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatments, and interventions using Epic EMR.
• Ensure compliance with all NICU protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
• Participate in ongoing clinical education and training to stay current with NICU best practices.
• Float to other departments and sister campuses as required, maintaining flexibility and team support.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent NICU experience, including Level IV environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Possess PALS certification (AHA accredited); BLS and NRP preferred.
• Be able to work every weekend plus one weekday night shift without restrictions.
• Complete all required compliance documentation within specified timeframes.
• Exhibit excellent clinical judgment and ability to work in high-pressure neonatal environments.
