Job Summary:
Provide specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting during every other weekend shift. Ensure the well-being of infants through comprehensive clinical support and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced neonatal nursing care to critically ill newborns, monitoring vital signs and responding to emergent conditions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Document patient progress and clinical findings accurately in EPIC electronic medical records.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies regarding nicotine-free campus and travel requirements.
• Float to other departments within the hospital network as needed to support staffing needs.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent NICU nursing experience, including Level IV NICU skills.
• Hold valid licensure in nursing with license verification in place prior to submission.
• Demonstrate EPIC EMR experience and proficiency in pediatric/neonatal care.
• PALS certification (AHA) is required; BLS, ALS, and NRP preferred.
• Be able to sign, complete required labs, and provide necessary documentation within designated timeframes.
• Recent travel experience and experience with NICU assignments are highly preferred.
