Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy support and assistance to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT. Deliver tailored therapy interventions to improve patient functional independence and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
• Conduct patient assessments and document progress according to established protocols.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe and effective therapy session.
• Educate patients and family members on therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Comply with facility policies and licensing requirements at all times.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid state or federal certification or license required.
• Prior experience working with diverse patient populations preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and treatment plans accurately.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety standards.
