Job Summary:
Provide essential therapeutic support to patients under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists. Assist in implementing treatment plans and facilitating patient progress throughout their recovery process.

Responsibilities:

• Support occupational therapists by preparing patients and assisting with therapeutic activities.
• Monitor and document patient responses and progress during therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and properly functioning.
• Follow established treatment protocols and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients to promote comfort and cooperation.
• Adhere to facility policies, including ID and badge requirements at all times.

Qualifications:

• Current certification or registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience supporting occupational therapy sessions in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and documentation procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Willingness to follow facility safety and ID policies.
