Job Summary:
Provides expert nursing care in the Emergency Department, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment for a diverse patient population. Collaborates with the healthcare team to promote high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for emergency patients, prioritizing needs and resources.
• Participate in patient and family education to improve understanding of diagnoses and treatments.
• Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary team members to maintain clinical and operational standards.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system.
• Adhere to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, ensuring patient rights and privacy are protected.
• Demonstrate clinical competence, judgment, and accountability in providing emergency nursing services.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Michigan RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience.
• Certification in ACLS and PALS (or eligible for acceptance with ENPC in place).
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and rapid patient assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
