Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings. Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care during night shifts, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their maternity experience.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing labor progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies.
• Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards, including certifications and Epic system usage.
• Assist in patient education, providing guidance on postpartum care, newborn care, and hospital procedures.
• Float to AP, NICU, or Postpartum/Nursery as needed, providing support across multiple units during shift.

Qualifications:

• Hold active, valid license (Compact or TN) required at time of submission.
• Possess at least 2 years of LDRP experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery.
• Demonstrate recent Epic experience within the last 18 months, including passing the Epic competency exam.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications.
• Provide two supervisory references and disclose all certifications required.
• Be able to pass background checks, fit testing (if applicable), and comply with travel and local candidate policies.
