Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients, ensuring quality treatment and patient safety. Collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver efficient, patient-centered care across all age groups.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate total nursing care for emergency department patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching to promote health education and discharge planning.
• Lead and collaborate with ancillary staff to maintain high standards of nursing practice.
• Ensure compliance with ethical, professional, and regulatory standards governing nursing practice.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system and communicate effectively with team members.
• Recognize and respond to emergent patient needs promptly and appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan State Nursing License.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required.
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNS, NCC, ENPC, or PNC certification preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-patient environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of emergency protocols and clinical procedures.
