Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department, ensuring quality patient treatment, safety, and comfort. Collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver efficient, evidence-based emergency services for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver total nursing care for emergency patients.
• Participate in patient and family education to promote understanding and cooperation.
• Work collaboratively with ancillary staff and interdisciplinary team members to maintain high standards of clinical practice.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient condition, assess needs, and document care effectively.
• Uphold patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Michigan State Nursing License.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Be certified in ACLS, PALS (or possess ENPC in place of PALS).
• Demonstrate proficiency in Paragon EMR and acute patient care management.
• Show understanding of emergency nursing standards and protocols.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
