Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, supporting high-risk obstetric cases and neonatal care. Ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care throughout maternal and postpartum processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor obstetric patients for signs of fetal distress and complications.
• Administer medications, including to patients with pre-eclampsia and during high-risk labor.
• Facilitate fetal monitoring procedures and interpret results to guide clinical decisions.
• Assist with labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal procedures, ensuring patient safety.
• React swiftly to obstetric emergencies, providing critical support until provider arrival.
• Collaborate with support staff and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in obstetrics.
• Proven expertise in labor and delivery, including C-section experience.
• Proficient in fetal monitoring and managing high-risk pregnancies.
• Ability to efficiently handle obstetric emergencies and assessments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
