Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate patient care during night shifts. The role involves supporting high-risk pregnancies and ensuring safe labor and delivery experiences. The RN will collaborate closely with healthcare teams to deliver optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient assessments and monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor.
• Assist with delivery procedures, providing support to obstetricians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients on labor, delivery options, and postpartum care.
• Manage patient comfort and pain relief strategies, including medication administration.
• Document clinical observations, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and coordinate subsequent care.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license with experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols, fetal monitoring, and maternal health.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and precision.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and support patients.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; additional obstetric certifications a plus.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts and be on call as needed.
