Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac patients in a 30-bed Cardiac Medical Progressive Care unit. Deliver comprehensive monitoring, assessment, and intervention for patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring on the unit.
• Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips with precision.
• Perform pre and post-cardiac catheterization care, including peripheral line and PICC line management.
• Manage chest tubes, external CPAP, BIPAP, and tracheostomy care.
• Recognize and respond to rapid response team situations promptly.
• Document patient progress accurately using EPIC electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Require minimum of 2 years of cardiac progressive care experience.
• Hold active RN license and CPR (BLS) and ACLS certifications.
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR and understanding of cardiac telemetry required.
• Demonstrate ability to manage complex cardiac patients, including drips, arrhythmias, and post-invasive procedures.
• Willingness to work Days, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• First-time travelers accepted; prior charge nurse experience preferred.
