Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room setting. Manages patient assessment, treatment, and supervision of nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patients' conditions upon arrival.
• Deliver urgent and routine nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care as necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and discharge instructions.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff and support personnel.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in emergency room nursing.
• BLS certification from an approved provider.
• ACLS certification from an approved provider.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations with excellent critical thinking skills.
