Job Summary:
Provide therapeutic support to patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist, assisting in developing and implementing treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment protocols.
• Implement therapy activities and interventions as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress during sessions, reporting any changes or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
• Comply with facility policies, including credential verification and wearing identification badges.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic techniques and patient care procedures.
• Possess strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Ability to adhere to facility policies, including identification badge policies and confidentiality standards.
