Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical RN will provide direct patient care to post-operative and general-medical patients, ensuring a high standard of clinical excellence and patient safety during night shifts. This role requires a team-oriented professional comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions to detect changes requiring intervention.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and drain management with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Document patient data accurately in the EMR system and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and modify patient care plans as needed.
• Support patient advocacy and education to promote recovery and health maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of medical-surgical experience.
• Strong knowledge of post-operative care, wound management, and drain care.
• BLS certification required; preferred or nice-to-have certifications include relevant wound care and advanced skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and team skills with a positive attitude.
