Job Summary:
Providing comprehensive nursing care to post-operative patients in a fast-paced Medical Surgical unit, the RN will ensure patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes through effective clinical practices and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside care, including dressing changes, wound management, and drain care.
• Monitor and document patient progress using Meditech EMR.
• Assist with post-operative patient recovery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver optimal patient experiences and meet unit goals.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient responses, supporting clinical decision-making.
• Adhere to dress code policies and safety standards while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in wound care, drain management, and post-operative procedures.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Meditech, is required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment with a team-oriented approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and patient advocacy focus.
• BLS certification required; the preferred candidate will have additional relevant certifications.
