Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for adult and pediatric patients recovering from surgery and anesthesia. Ensure patient safety, stability, and comfort through effective monitoring and intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient vitals and recovery status continuously to identify any complications.
• Administer medications, including drip titrations and ventilator management, as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators and monitors, ensuring proper function.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately within the Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Respond promptly to patient changes or emergencies, providing critical interventions as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years experience in PACU or ICU settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ventilator management and drip titration.
• Strong neuro background preferred.
• Certification in ACLS and PALS is required.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability.
