Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and the ability to adapt to various clinical situations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to trauma and critically ill patients.
• Perform assessments, monitor patient conditions, and document clinical findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Utilize advanced skills such as intubation, sedation, and stroke management procedures.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including floating policies, dress code, and infection control protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS is required.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including 7A-7:30P and 7P-7:30A, every other weekend.
