Job Summary:
Provide acute care in the Emergency Department as a registered nurse, delivering high-quality patient assessments and interventions within a fast-paced environment. Responsible for managing emergency cases, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and determine priority levels for emergency care.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to physician orders and protocols.
• Complete accurate documentation of patient histories, treatments, and vital signs in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other staff to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, care plans, and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized emergency department environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Texas or Compact RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required.
• Successfully complete CPI within 6 weeks of onboarding.
• At least 1 year of ER nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-stress environment.
• Proficient in Meditech EMR system.
