Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a busy Level III Trauma center. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a night shift schedule, with opportunities for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to Trauma Level III patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage patient assessments, including triage, telemetry monitoring, and IV starts.
• Administer conscious sedation and operate ventilators as required.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document clinical information accurately using PICIS and Soarian electronic medical records.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH, TNCC, and PALS.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid nursing license with proper credentials to practice in the state.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years recent ED experience, preferably in a travel setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with vents, IV starts, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
• Show ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH, TNCC, and PALS.
