Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel RN for the Emergency Department at a large hospital. The role involves providing expert nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment, supporting patient stabilization and treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care, including IV starts and medication administration.
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changing conditions.
• Document patient information and interventions accurately in EMR systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies, scanning patient and medication records with each interaction.
• Apply skills in pediatric care, sedation, and trauma as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of ER experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Meditech EMR experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in large, high-volume hospital settings.
• Experience with IV starts, medication administration, and pediatric procedures.
• Travel RN experience or exposure to facilities with 52+ beds is a plus.
