Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with medical staff to deliver prompt and efficient clinical services, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications, perform IV starts, and conduct sedation procedures as prescribed.
• Document patient information and treatments accurately in EMR systems.
• Respond rapidly to emergencies, utilizing advanced life support skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and tech staff.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.

Qualifications:

• Current Kansas RN license with state certification.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIHS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in large facility or travel settings.
• Experience with Meditech EMR platform preferred.
• Ability to handle fast-paced environments and work efficiently under pressure.
