Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment at a busy ER. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while adhering to unit protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival to ensure efficient emergency care.
• Administer medications, IV starts, and perform advanced procedures such as sedations and pediatrics care.
• Document patient care and medications accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control and safety guidelines.
• Adapt quickly to new equipment and technology, ensuring optimal use for patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 1-year ED experience.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with Meditech EMR and large facility settings.
• Be able to work in a high-paced environment and handle diverse patient cases.
• Have travel experience or prior work at large healthcare facilities.
• Be adept at procedures including IV placement and medication administration.
