Job Summary:

Seeking a Charge RN with critical access and emergency room expertise to provide leadership and advanced patient care. The role involves floating between Med/Surg and Stepdown units, primarily covering ED responsibilities with backup charge duties in critical access settings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate nursing activities within the Emergency Department and critical access units.
• Float between ED, Med/Surg, and Stepdown to ensure seamless patient coverage.
• Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support during shifts.
• Administer emergency and critical care procedures following protocol.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license with active certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of charge nurse experience.
• Have previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital.
• Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Be willing to float and assist with Med/Surg and Stepdown patients, including handling Stepdown cases.
