Job Summary:
Provide specialized postpartum and mother/baby nursing care to patients recovering post-delivery. Ensure the health and safety of both mother and newborn through comprehensive clinical support and education.

Responsibilities:

• Assess postpartum patients and newborns to determine care needs and monitor progress.
• Administer medication and treatments according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Educate new mothers on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of experience in postpartum or mother/baby nursing.
• Possess CPR certification and any additional relevant credentials.
• Display strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to dynamic healthcare settings.
