Job Summary:
Provide high-quality postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assess postpartum patients and newborns to develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as GYN surgeries and postpartum assessments.
• Educate new mothers on breastfeeding, recovery, and newborn care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Document care plans, assessments, and procedures accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 1 year of postpartum or mother-baby experience.
• Valid BLS and NRP certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a mother-baby or postpartum environment.
• Strong communication skills with a warm and bubbly personality.
• Ability to adapt to floating areas and unit policies.
• Proven competency in postpartum patient care and GYN surgeries.
