Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg unit, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during hospitalization. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and maintain clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and update medical records accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; Chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Proven competency with Meditech EMR and use of clinical equipment like Alaris IV pumps.
