Job Summary:


Responsible for providing direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting during night shifts. Performs assessments, monitors patient status, and interprets dysrhythmias to ensure optimal patient outcomes.



Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, including dysrhythmias.
  
• Assess patients' conditions and document findings accurately.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
  
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
  
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with licensing requirements.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Current SC or Compact RN license in good standing prior to start.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
  
• BLS and ACLS certification required; NIHSST trauma not applicable.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
  
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend, with flexibility for float requirements.
  
• Experience in a community hospital setting preferred.
