Job Summary:
Provide hands-on patient care in a Medical Surgical/Tele setting within an LTAC environment. Ensure proper medication administration, monitor patient status, and collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately using Omnicell and Epic EMR systems.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress throughout shifts.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate concerns as needed.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify care plans.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid SC registered nurse license.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in LTAC, MS/Tele, MS, or PCU settings.
• Proficient in Epic EMR with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Must have experience working in adult ICU or step-down units.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
