Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified RN for a Circulator position within the Operating Room at Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium. The role involves managing a variety of surgical cases while ensuring efficient workflow and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with elective and emergency surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Ensure sterilization and sterilization supply standards are maintained throughout operations.
• Monitor patient status and provide intraoperative care in collaboration with surgical teams.
• Utilize after-hours call services to support OR staffing during nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Prepare and document all surgical procedures accurately according to hospital protocols.
• Comply with all licensing, certification, and safety requirements to maintain a compliant healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School with a BSN or ADN degree.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska.
• Have at least 3 years of OR circulator experience.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience in Critical Access Hospitals or rural OR settings is highly desirable.
