Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant supports licensed physical therapists in providing patient care focused on restoring movement and managing pain. The role involves assisting in implementing treatment plans and monitoring patient progress under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering therapeutic interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure proper equipment setup for patient sessions.
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapy and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to promote recovery.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid PTA license or certification required.
• Proven experience in providing physical therapy assistance for at least 1 year preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and document patient progress accurately.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with healthcare team and patients.
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, modalities, and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
