Job Summary:

Provide specialized critical care nursing services in the ICU unit, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes through expert care and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to ICU needs.
• Administer medications, including vasopressors, and monitor their effects on patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and recovery.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and responses accurately in Meditech.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, providing critical interventions as required.
• Adhere to hospital policies including floating, dress code, infection control, and attendance standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Proficient in Meditech documentation system.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
