Job Summary:
Provides specialized care to critically ill patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, managing complex medical conditions with a focus on neurological and trauma patients. Delivers patient-centered treatment aligned with neuroscience principles and critical care standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions promptly and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status, responding to any changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in state or pending with in-hand verification by start date.
• Minimum of 1-year ICU or stepdown experience in a neuroscience or critical care setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH certification preferred.
• Epic electronic health record experience essential.
• Ability to float within scope of practice as needed, adhering to facility policies.
