Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced RN to provide specialized care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, supporting patients with complex medical needs. The nurse will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, clinical data, and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications and therapies according to protocol.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Virginia or pending license with verified Nursys confirmation.
• Minimum of 2 years’ acute care experience in a stepdown or IMC setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record systems.
• Ability to adhere to facility policies, including float policy and travel restrictions.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
