Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), IMC, or Stepdown unit, ensuring safe and effective patient treatment and recovery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical status regularly to detect any changes or deterioration.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and best practices.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses thoroughly and promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-care instructions, medication management, and health maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Tennessee or the appropriate state accreditation.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Demonstrate competency in patient assessment, clinical procedures, and emergency response.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented healthcare setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications preferred.
