Job Summary:
The RN - PCU, IMC, Stepdown is responsible for delivering specialized intermediate and progressive care to complex medical, cardiac, and surgical patients. The role involves providing high-quality, individualized patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform patient assessments, including Q6H head-to-toe evaluations.
• Administer medications and IV therapies, including titrations and complex infusions.
• Manage advanced procedures such as chest tube care, CVC management, and tracheostomy care.
• Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately using Meditech and electronic devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for critically and chronically ill patients.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license valid in Tennessee or state of residence.
• Demonstrate 2+ years of experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units, with cardiac/telemetry expertise.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit proficiency in IV insertion, wound management, and EKG interpretation.
• Display strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
