Job Summary:

Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications, IVs, and wound care according to protocols.
• Perform procedures such as Foley catheterizations, NG tube placements, and trach care.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech electronic system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort through hourly rounding and bedside communication.

Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri RN license required.
• BLS certification essential.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Proficient in IV placement, wound care, and post-op procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
