Job Summary:

Provide urgent and comprehensive nursing care in a Level 2 trauma center emergency department. Deliver high-quality patient care while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage incoming patients to determine priority and care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Document patient interactions and clinical findings accurately in Cerner system.
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow department policies for floating, scheduling, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in an emergency room setting.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (or within 90 days).
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend shifts.
