Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients in a busy Labor and Delivery unit. Engage in delivering comprehensive maternal care, including managing high acuity patients and assisting with cesarean sections.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate in C-section surgeries and manage high-risk obstetric patients.
• Monitor fetal well-being using GE fetal monitors and document findings accurately.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and post-delivery recovery.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
• Adhere to infection control policies, including maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Float as needed to antepartum units following hospital guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery experience.
• Valid AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.
• Proven expertise in high-risk obstetrical bedside care and circulating in C-section procedures.
• Strong knowledge of OB equipment, Meditech documentation, and patient management.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on rotating weekends.
• Commitment to maintaining professional appearance and following dress code policies.
