Job Summary:
Responsible for providing specialized post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the PACU, ensuring optimal recovery and safety. Coordinates patient assessments and interventions during the immediate post-operative period.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition continuously post-surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assess patient responses to procedures and interventions, adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate a smooth patient recovery process.
• Comply with all hospital policies, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia RN license with a minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience.
• Current AHA BLS certification; ACLS certification required.
• Proven ability to handle critical situations and acute patient care.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
