Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to patients, ensuring optimal respiratory health and treatment compliance. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective respiratory care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and nebulizers.
• Document patient care activities accurately within electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health management and equipment use.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency in operating advanced respiratory equipment including V60’s, Metaneb, and Nihon Kohden devices.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work 13-week contract shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM without on-call requirements.
