Job Summary:
Seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for the Pediatric Emergency Department. This role involves providing critical respiratory care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies including noninvasive and invasive ventilation.
• Monitor and assess pediatric patients’ respiratory status, including bronchiolitic scoring and respiratory arrest management.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized respiratory equipment.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Follow unit policies and safety guidelines to ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling pediatric respiratory equipment and procedures.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of Meditech electronic medical record system is desirable.
