Job Summary:
Provides specialized critical care nursing services to ICU patients, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and safety. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing best practices.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and laboratory results to adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient status and interventions.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or compact state RN license in hand at time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent ICU experience, preferably within one facility.
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• One recent management, supervisor, or director reference from the past 12 months.
