Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Mission Hospital’s Memorial Campus. The ideal candidate will provide critical care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced trauma and stroke center environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients with acute conditions in the ED.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and clinical data using advanced equipment.
• Educate patients and families about treatment procedures and post-discharge care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Cerner system.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license recognized in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma or high-volume ED.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC before start date.
• Demonstrated ability to perform procedures such as cardiac monitoring and emergency interventions.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Flexibility to work across all ED areas and every other weekend schedule.
