Job Summary:
Performs advanced radiographic exams and interventional procedures in the Cardiac and Vascular Cath Lab setting. Operates sophisticated imaging equipment to generate high-quality images necessary for diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions while providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate digital radiographic and fluoroscopy equipment to produce contrast-enhanced images of the heart and vascular system.
• Assist physicians during specialized procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and angiograms.
• Position and immobilize patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Mentor and train staff on technical procedures and safety protocols.
• Support the clinical team in maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in radiologic technology or equivalent credential.
• Possess at least two years of recent experience in cardiology imaging or interventional radiology.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have a valid radiologic technologist license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate proficiency with fluoroscopy and intervention procedures.
• Exhibit strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
