Job Summary:
Seeking experienced ER Registered Nurses to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced community hospital setting. The role involves managing a diverse patient population, including adult and pediatric cases, with an emphasis on quick decision-making and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Level 3 Trauma ER.
• Manage complex patient conditions, including high patient volumes and fluctuating census.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform EKGs as needed.
• Collaborate with respiratory, anesthesia, and ancillary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities accurately within the EPIC electronic system.
• Follow protocols for patient monitoring and safety, including ventilator and respiratory treatments.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid NY RN license or proof of application with applied date.
• Minimum of 1 year of ER or emergency nursing experience.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Experienced with EPIC EMR system within the past 2 years.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, high-acuity environment with patient ratios exceeding 1:4.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
