Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, including pediatric care, and hold current, active licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Administer medications, including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedatives, and insulin, following established protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and cardiac arrest.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license with verification and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrate at least 2+ years of recent ED experience, including pediatric cases.
• Possess current drivers licenses matching address demographics; travel and local experience are required.
• Be able to work at least one shift from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM in a floating capacity.
• Maintain current Nursys report and demonstrate familiarity with EMRs, specifically EPIC.
