Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support operating room services within a Level 3 trauma center. The RN will assist with a variety of surgical procedures across multiple service lines, ensuring patient safety and care quality.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgical teams in preparing operating rooms and sterilizing equipment.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes during surgery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient statuses.
• Respond to call requests within 30 minutes, supporting emergency and scheduled surgeries.
• Manage caseload across multiple OR rooms, facilitating smooth surgical workflows.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Proven experience in operating room or perioperative nursing preferred.
• Ability to respond quickly to call requirements, including one day weekly and one weekend per month.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
